In the case of custom size fabricated Duplex Stainless Steel Sheet Plate or Duplex 2205 Steel Sheet Plate, the welding is carried out by qualified personnel for perfect welding and fabrication of the 2205 Duplex Sheet Plate (Duplex 2205 Sheet Plate) in mega projects in oil and gas industry for the long life of the product.
2205 is a duplex stainless steel, with a chemical composition of nearly equal proportions of austenite and ferrite. This combination allows the alloy to be stronger and tougher than standard austenitic steels. Duplex stainless steels like 2205 also maintain good weldability in their thickest sections, and they are much more resistant to stress corrosion cracking than standard austenitic steels.
